Rug Measurement

It is important to get the right size rug for the horse for comfort and to eliminate those annoying rub marks on the shoulders.  All horses are different but this chart below is to be used as a guide only to what size rug your horse needs. 

First thing is to measure your horse from the centre of the chest to the point of the rump where you would like the rug to end.  Allowance for tail coverage has been taken into account when making the rug, therefore there is no need to measure past the start of the tail.
